There might be a line on the back of the seat pan. You might think it is defective, but it is not.
When a chair is manufactured, the line is formed during the injection molding process as it is the injection gate.
We can replace the part for you, but there will be the same injection molding gate line on the other chairs as well to greater or lesser degrees.
